Fujiko Enami

Born 1968 in Saitama, Japan.

B.F.A. 1992 Tama Art University, Tokyo, Japan.

Graduated 1994 Toyama Institute of Glass Art, Toyama, Japan.

Fujiko Enami is a glass artist. While studying at Toyama Institute of Glass Art, she became interested in the Venetian Murrine technique, which she is able to combine with Japanese Tea Ceremony wares.  

In 1998, with Ushio Konishi, Enami established the Glass Art Ushio Studio. She has exhibited widely in Japan, and in 2011 she was selected for "The Yearning Venetian Glass Exhibition,' at the Suntory Museum. Her work is also displayed at the Toyama Glass Museum in Japan.
