We are delighted to announce that Takayuki Sakiyama has been awarded a special mention in the LOEWE Foundation Craft prize 2021.
The special mention was awarded for his large ceramic sculpture 'Chōtō: Listening to the Waves’. Sakiyama lives near the sea on the Izu Peninsula where he creates his swirling rippling stoneware sculptural vessels.
