Chieko Katsumata tea bowl in the permanent collection of the Ashmolean Museum

We are delighted to announce that a beautiful tea bowl by Chieko Katsumata has recently joined the permanent collection of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. This has been acquired thanks to the generous support of Christopher Gorman-Evans. 

The Ashmolean Museum are delighted regarding the addition of this work by Chieko Katsumata, as the Museum are currently trying to build up their collection of women makers.
