Graduated 2013 from Musahino Art University, Tokyo.

Research associate, 2013-2018, Musahino Art University, Tokyo.

Nakajima is a young metal artist, now based in the UK. In 2019 Nakajima was awarded prizes from the Goldsmith's Craft and Design Council in both Silversmith design and chasing.

Nakajima has said of his work, 'I produce ornaments and vessels made from metal by using hammering and chasing techniques. My work is inspired by plants, particularly the forms of seeds and fruits. Hammering is a meditative repetition of the act of beating the metal sheet to create undulation, convex and concave shapes.'
